I promised you from my last post.
Ok, so the camera didn’t exactly focus on the right thing, but Jojo’s delight at finding a ball(!!!) in the house is quite evident.
Iiiiiiiiiiiiiii love a parade…
Coincidentally, I used to randomly (& charmingly) belt this tune out, with bravado, in high school, not necessarily because I love parades, but because the tune (ok, just that line) is way fun to startle people with.
Another story, another time. Back to the fun via pictures: I alternately title this section “Fashion on parade”…because I can.
Really? You’re wearing THIS to a parade? Get past the uber-expensive stroller. Check. Out. The. Pucci. Print. And those stacked wedges. The blowout? That probably didn’t fare so well in the suffocating humidity. Oh maybe she looked fresh as a summer’s eve by the summer’s eve. No tellin’. I swear though, she was channeling Posh Spice:
Remember those wicked sportsjackets I was telling you about for the 25th reunion class? How awesomely ridiculous are THESE? Tell me you don’t want one?
Spaztically dressed marching band? Check. Thousands of enthusiastic (some, perhaps, intoxicated) partygoers? Check. Big tree needing to be poked with stick?
Check.
Ok, hands DOWN my favorite of all the reunion outfits, chiefly por que me ENCANTA some Captain and Tenille…and this is like being engulfed in a sea (ba-dum-bum) of them:

I was hoping and not hoping for the picture of the striped banana hammock. I am so glad I didn’t have to witness it in person. I would have to have been one of the drunk parade attendees after that sight!

two of the freaks from the spa were heading to the festivities for their 10th that day after many MANY expensive spa treatments. although i have to admit, they were the nicer and slightly more tolerable of the spa freaks (well at least one of them). kudos to princeton.

I love your son. He does not look happy to be a pawn in your picture-taking game. The gams on that dude are a bit pasty but it coulda been SO much worse. There’s nothing wrong with a little school spirit. I’m all for it – except the colors are all wrong in your picture. Red and white! GO BADGERS!!
