I loved the Hunger Games movie, too. I was on the edge of my seat the whole time even though I read it. Love me some Cinna!!!!

Book I am reading and recommend…. 50 Shades of Grey. Ummmmm…I am not ashamed. It’s some good, fun reading!

I am almost finished with One Day (which you recommended to me like 3 years ago) and I really like it.

Don’t stop blogging. The Squirrel must live on.

I am jealous of your stick-to-it-tiveness. I miss blogging, but not enough to return to it, apparently.

Anyway, your post (other than your unfortunate loss of pictures due to laptop crapdom) made me smile.

I still check your site regularly and am quite pleased when you post. Yes, I haven’t really blogged in a year and yes, I am a slacker but those aren’t valid reasons why YOU are allowed to quit. I still haven’t technically “quit” and you post like a hundred times more than I do

Hello, friend! I recently read The Night Circus and really enjoyed it. Also, a book called Good Omens is one of my all-time favorites, so if you haven’t read that one yet, I highly recommend it. No quitting! I don’t even care about the bloggy bells and whistles – as long as I can “hear” you every once in a while, I’m good. And oh the wrath T-Bone has had to endure on the several occasions I thought some pictures were missing … not good.

Yay, I’m glad you’re not quitting. Your blog is one of the first ones I started reading and you’ve always made me laugh.

I agree with you that The Hunger Games was legendary. So incredibly awesome. If you’re looking for books in that same vein, I recommend Delirium by Lauren Oliver (the sequel, Pandemonium, just came out, and the third will be released next year). Also Divergent by Veronica Roth.

Smiling! And glad that you posted b/c I forgot to tell you that I was SO MONUMENTALLY BUMMED that I missed the movie outing with you. Might have to just go while the girls are in school all by myself and lower my face into a vat of popcorn.

I have my 3 or 4 hundred dollar Netbook that gets the job done all on its own, blog-wise. Maybe you should put it on your birthday list. Do. not. stop.

And book recommendations, reading The Game of Thrones and it’s really good, and on NPR today a woman was talking about a book called Enclave that sounded good in a dystopian sort of way.
